These terms govern your use of the ScholarLabz website and mentorship services. By contacting us or engaging a mentor, you agree to them.
1. What we provide
ScholarLabz provides mentorship, guidance and training for research scholars. That includes help with topic selection, research gap analysis, proposal and synopsis structure, research methodology, data analysis interpretation, academic writing practice, journal selection, reviewer responses and viva preparation.
2. What we do not provide
- We do not write, ghostwrite or sell theses, dissertations, papers or chapters.
- We do not sit examinations, complete coursework or impersonate a scholar in any interaction with a university or journal.
- We do not manipulate plagiarism scores or AI-detection results.
- We do not fabricate, alter or supply research data.
- We do not guarantee publication, acceptance, grades, degree completion or any particular outcome.
3. Your responsibilities
You confirm that the research you bring to us is your own, and that using mentorship is permitted by your university and supervisor. You remain the sole author of your work and are responsible for what you submit. You agree not to present any ScholarLabz material as your own original writing.
4. Intellectual property
Your research, data and writing remain entirely yours. ScholarLabz claims no authorship, co-authorship or copyright over your work. Materials we create for teaching purposes — templates, checklists, slides and worksheets — remain ours, and are licensed to you for your personal research use only.
5. Sessions, fees and refunds
Fees, session counts and delivery timelines are agreed in writing before an engagement begins. Sessions can be rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice. Refund terms for each package are stated in your engagement confirmation. [Add your specific fee and refund terms here before launch.]
6. Confidentiality
We keep your research confidential and do not share it with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data.
7. Limitation of liability
Mentorship is advisory. Decisions about your research, submissions and publications are yours. To the extent permitted by law, ScholarLabz is not liable for rejections, delays, examination results or any indirect losses arising from the use of our guidance. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the engagement in question.
8. Ending an engagement
Either side may end an engagement with written notice. We may decline or end work that would require us to breach our Academic Ethics Policy, with no further obligation beyond refunding undelivered sessions.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction.
